DirectPoll

DirectPoll offers a real-time voting service for big audiences. This tool is also very useful for second screen scenarios or modern learning in a flipped classroom. The service, currently offered for free, is highly scalable and very flexible. A poll is setup in minutes and may be altered at any time. DirectPoll has a strong focus on live events. The votes are animated while they happen. No extra hardware is needed in order to steer a poll, all voters simply use their smartphone. The presenter may edit the questions at any time, even if a poll is running.

Personal Motivation

DirectPoll handles a quite complex setup were a poll can be setup, visualised and steered with a browser. Making complex event setups available and usable for everyone without the need for specialised equipment or event knowhow was a challenge and my heartfelt wish for this product.
